Giving

Giving to God through tithing. Giving of self through time and God-given talents. There are many ways we can give and when done with a grateful heart, God can multiply our giving. He can take what we give and use it for His glory.

Gifting

Meeting the needs of others. Gifting through charity and mission. When we gift with a heart that doesn't seek something in return, God can use our gifts to bless others, often lifting them out of poverty and dire situations.

Serving

Get involved, serving in Church or the wider community. Helping  Ivy Church fulfil its vision of reaching up and reaching out. Any time given through serving is greatly appreciated. It's what we are called to do.

Ivy Church Finance
Ivy Church is a charity (number 1050613). Our income comes from the direct giving of our congregation. We encourage folks to consider carefully how much to give regularly as part of their contribution to God’s work in our area of Bristol; ideally by standing order.

We also ask those who are taxpayers to Gift Aid their donation; this contribution from the Government provides about 20% of our income. We support a full time minister and  set aside 12.5% of income to support missionaries who we know well. Reports on the finances are presented at every Church Council meeting.
