Youth & Community Pastor
Full-Time (35hrs/wk)
Salary - £30k p.a. (depending on experience) + pension contributions

Ivy Church is an Assemblies of God Pentecostal Church with strong links in the vibrant communities of St Werburgh’s, Montpelier and St Paul’s in Bristol. Our vision is to be a church family who is passionate about Jesus Christ and making Him known; serving our neighbours, near and far.
Description of the job
We’re looking for someone with experience, a passion for youth ministry and a heart to reach young people beyond the church community with the good news of Jesus. You will be a dynamic leader for our youth ministry; Someone who loves Jesus and loves seeing young people come to faith and grow in their faith. You will need experience of working with children and young people in a church environment and a track record of outreach improving attendance in church-based youth activities.
Due to the nature of this role we believe that this post is subject to an occupational requirement that the holder be a practising Christian and part one of schedule 9 to the Equality Act 2010 .
This is a new paid staff role and builds on the great work of our dedicated volunteer children’s and youth teams at Ivy Church over many years. The role will require elements of building on existing ministries and pioneering new ones both inside and outside the church in our community.
