Hours: 15 hours a week with a 2 year fixed term contract.
Salary: £26,000-£30,000 per annum pro rata (salary dependent on experience)

Ivy Church presents an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and committed individual to lead and develop our Children and Youth ministry. The Children and Youth Worker will work with our volunteers; beginning with our church families and aiming to reach out to the vibrant community of St Werburgh’s, St Paul’s & Montpelier. We aim to engage with families to encourage them towards a strong Christian faith.
Job Description
We’re looking for someone who loves Jesus and loves seeing young people come to faith and grow in their faith. You will need experience of working with children and young people in a church environment and ability to engage with children and young people in Church and in the community. You will be ready both to work with our existing team and recruit and motivate volunteers.
It is expected that staff members will be active members of Ivy Church including involvement in Sunday services, and groups. It is an occupational requirement for all employees to be practising Christians.
